With the world in a shift right now many things run through our minds. For me, I see this spring as a new beginning. Here on the farm, spring is a time of NEW, a new animal being born, flowers blooming, chicks, ducks or even a new family of kittens, anyone need a kitten? A new idea for making farm work easier (if there is such a thing) or a new vegetable to try from the garden.
I have been adding lots of heirloom seed varieties to my collection as well as garden herbs. I am finding new weeds on my walks around the farm and herbs from the seed catalogs that I want to know more about.
I am thirsty for knowledge from you this time... What do you want to learn about?? I know the general conscience is how to grow, how to use, how to make.. but please be specific. I would like to start a live or video DIY event to help support you. I need your help in guiding my brain with some herbs or weeds that you want to know about more, or how to identify and use. So, if you would just type in a topic, herb name or post some picture of a weed in your backyard that I can help you with that would be a great start.
This will soon take the place of the daily Life Hacks, for the month of May.
Have a blessed Thursday!

Thank you Anna.. I want to do an interactive herb class online, but I am struggling with the details as internet is not freely connecting out here with a cell phone so I have to find someone to record, then we have to up-load and then plan a class. I would love to have walks, and then go back to a place where lunch is shared and we discuss more from our findings. Hands on uses are great to learn.
For example, I posted a picture of shepherds purse the other day, and I had several different comments, 1 saw the deadhead nettle, another said they had this everywhere and one talked of stinging nettle. We need good identification f…
Thanks for writing this Carol , I wasn't expecting what was in this article by the title... I thought it was going to be about drinking water. Lol ... That's pretty cool you are finding things on your farm that you don't know what it is and want to learn more. I would like to be more knowledge about plants growing around my areas as well, such as what's edible that's growing wild around here, and what is growing around that might help with things like posoin ivy , scapes and cuts common issues like that . I've heard different weeds can be helpful in aiding with those things.
